Store copy, unless the line is a German or French control

Homepage paste is US English and store copy. That fits a listing, an ad, an influencer email, or an English page. The same German label, 53 characters and no period, scores 100 there and 92 when a new audit is set to Product UI.

One line, three scene labels

The words do not change. Only the scene does. Store copy and a marketing page leave this line alone. Product UI in German treats it as a control.

The line has no period. It is 53 characters: Kostenlose Testversion jetzt ohne Kreditkarte starten
SceneLanguageScoreLength mark
Store copyGerman100No
Marketing pageGerman100No
Product UIGerman92Yes

French product UI scores 92 on this line, with a length mark. Spanish, Japanese, and English product UI score 100, 100, and 100. The extra rule runs for German and French only.

It also asks for a line with no period, longer than 32 characters and shorter than 90. This one is 53. A line that already starts with Button, Label, or CTA is left to the other rule, below.

The homepage scans the bare line as US English store copy, so the score is 100. Write it as “Primary button (de-DE): Kostenlose Testversion jetzt ohne Kreditkarte starten” and the homepage scores 92, because every scene marks a Button, Label, or CTA whose text after the colon is longer than 28 characters.

A stiff English sentence keeps the same score

In this modern era, we delve into analytics that unlock growth. It scores 70 as store copy, as a marketing page, and as product UI. The dropdown changes the label on the report. The phrase list still runs. Points for those marks are on the product page.

Two write-ups, for the two ways the text fails

The form has three scenes. This site writes up two of them. Marketing page is the third scene, and on this build it shares store copy’s marks.

Ecommerce

Titles, bullets, ads, and email to an influencer. Use the homepage, or set the scene to Store copy. That write-up walks the sentence that pairs a holiday with a faith, and when a per-word edit is worth paying for.

Software

A setting, an error, or a button in German or French. Open a new audit, choose Product UI, and choose that language. That write-up uses the Button form of this label, which the homepage already marks, and says what a missing glossary leaves unseen.

Paste it in the scene you just picked

A listing can go in the homepage box. A German or French control needs a new audit set to Product UI.
